E-bike in de aanbieding: zo kies je de goede

Een e-bike in de aanbieding klinkt als een makkelijke keuze, maar de korting zegt weinig over de fiets zelf. Twee e-bikes met hetzelfde kortingspercentage kunnen totaal anders rijden. Op deze pagina staan de elektrische fietsen die nu afgeprijsd zijn, op dit moment onder meer van ENGWE, ADO, JOBOBIKE, Heybike, Tomos, KNAAP en DYU. Volgens onze productgegevens hebben ze een motor van 250 watt die ondersteunt tot 25 km/u, alleen als je trapt, en geen gashendel. Het aanbod verandert steeds. Wat vandaag in de aanbieding is, kan volgende week uitverkocht zijn, en er komen ook fietsen bij.

Waarom is een elektrische fiets afgeprijsd?

Meestal om gewone redenen. Er komt een nieuwe uitvoering aan, een kleur loopt minder hard of er is een seizoensactie. De fiets zelf blijft hetzelfde: dezelfde motor, dezelfde accu en dezelfde onderdelen als voor de korting.

Let op bij modellen in meerdere kleuren of uitvoeringen. Soms is alleen de zwarte variant afgeprijsd, of alleen de versie met lage instap. Kijk op de productpagina welke variant precies in de aanbieding is voordat je hem in je winkelwagen legt. En vergelijk op specificaties in plaats van op de hoogte van de korting.

Een vast moment waarop alles afgeprijsd is, is er niet. Rond Black Friday, eind november, komen er vaak e-bikes bij, en in het voorjaar wisselt het aanbod snel omdat dan veel mensen een nieuwe fiets zoeken. Zie je een model dat je wilt, wacht dan niet te lang. De populairste kleuren zijn meestal als eerste op.

Licht, ver of comfortabel: drie soorten e-bikes

Wil je een lichte e-bike, kijk dan naar modellen als de Mapfour N1 Air. Die weegt volgens onze productgegevens rond de 16 kilo. Handig als je de fiets moet dragen of meeneemt in de trein. Lichte e-bikes hebben vaak een kleinere accu, de N1 Air heeft 360 Wh.

Rijd je lange stukken, kijk dan naar het aantal wattuur. De ENGWE E26 heeft 768 Wh en de DYU C9 749 Wh. Je laadt minder vaak, maar deze fietsen wegen ook ruim 30 kilo. Hoe ver je echt komt, hangt af van je gewicht, de wind, hellingen en de ondersteuningsstand. Reken in de winter op minder kilometers, want een koude accu levert minder.

Voor comfort tellen de motor en de vering. De Tomos EB 24 en EB 25 hebben volgens onze productgegevens een Bosch middenmotor, die via de versnellingen meewerkt. Dat voel je vooral bij het wegrijden en op een helling. Modellen als de JOBOBIKE Luxe 2 hebben een geveerde voorvork, prettig op slecht wegdek. Een lage instap, zoals bij de ADO Air 28 of de Heybike Helio U, maakt op- en afstappen makkelijker.

E-bike aanbiedingen online vergelijken

Je bestelt online, dus de productpagina is je belangrijkste bron. Kijk eerst naar de wielmaat. Met 28 inch wielen rij je rustig op langere stukken, met 20 inch wielen heb je een korte, wendbare fiets die makkelijk in een kleine berging past. Kijk daarna naar de instap, het gewicht en de accu in wattuur. Zet je twee e-bikes in de aanbieding naast elkaar en lijken ze op elkaar, dan geeft de accu meestal de doorslag. Kijk ook naar het maximale draaggewicht als je vaak bagage of boodschappen meeneemt. Twijfel je tussen hoge en lage instap? Bij een lage instap hoef je je been niet over het zadel te zwaaien. Dat is fijn als je vaak stopt, maar een hoge instap voelt bij sommige fietsen steviger.
