Three ways to pay for your fatbike. Two cost you nothing extra; with the third, you pay interest—and we’d rather tell you here than at checkout.

Klarna, iDEAL, in3, and SprayPay each work differently. The differences lie in the number of installments, the interest rate, and whether a BKR credit check is involved. Below, they are shown side by side—or jump straight to the method you’re looking for.

This is how it works for each method

Klarna: pay after 30 days, or in 3 instalments

With Klarna, you choose. Pay the full amount 30 days after receiving your order, or split it into 3 equal payments. Both options are interest-free.

Which of the two you receive is shown at checkout; it depends on the amount. No BKR credit check is involved, although Klarna does perform a light identity check.

iDEAL in3: three equal installments, 0% interest

You pay the same amount three times: one third immediately, one third after 30 days, and the final installment after 60 days.

You pay no interest, and there is no credit check with the Dutch Credit Registration Office (BKR). in3 does perform a light identity check. After two months, your payment is complete.

Please note: everything will be paid off within 60 days. That third instalment comes sooner than you think. Would you prefer to take longer? Then SprayPay is the way to go.

SprayPay: pay in installments over 6 to 60 months

You choose how long you take to pay it off. The term ranges from 6 to 60 months, and on the website you can calculate it for 12, 18, 24, 36, 48, and 60 months. You pay the same amount every month, so you know exactly what will be deducted.

This is the only one of the three with interest, so you’ll ultimately pay more than the price shown on the product page. Higher amounts and longer terms require a BKR credit check. SprayPay, not us, determines the amount at which this starts. At checkout, you enter your income, housing situation, and term, and you’ll see your payment plan immediately on your screen.

Which of the three is the cheapest?
Klarna, iDEAL, and in3 don’t cost you anything extra as long as you pay on time. SprayPay charges interest, so your total amount is higher than the price on the product page. In return, you get a low monthly payment.
Will this appear on my BKR record?
With Klarna and iDEAL in3, there is no BKR credit check, only a light identity check. SprayPay does check with the BKR for higher amounts and longer repayment terms. What SprayPay records afterward is determined by SprayPay. We cannot access your file, so ask them if you want to be certain.
Can I pay in installments with Klarna?
Yes. Klarna offers two options: pay the full amount 30 days after receiving your order, or pay in 3 equal installments. The options available to you are shown at checkout.
What if my application is rejected?
Then choose a different payment method at checkout and simply complete your purchase. We can’t see why an application is declined; only your provider knows.
Does my delivery time change if I pay in installments?
No. We process your order immediately after approval, so your payment method does not affect the delivery time.
Where can I see how much I pay per month?
Each product page shows the monthly payment for each term for that model. So you don’t need to do any calculations. If you want to try a different amount, use the module above.
Can I also pay for accessories and parts in installments?
Yes, using the same three methods. A lock, an extra battery, or a set of tires does not have to be paid for all at once.
What if I’m late with a payment?
With iDEAL in3 and SprayPay, no interest is charged, but additional fees do apply. Klarna sends a reminder first and then charges fees.
What if I return my bike?
Your cooling-off period does not change based on your payment method. If a payment is still being processed and you want to return the bike, send us an email or WhatsApp message before shipping it back. We’ll help you from there.
Why don’t I see the option to pay in installments at checkout?
iDEAL, in3, and SprayPay are only available in the Netherlands; Klarna can be used in more countries. If you’re in the Netherlands but still can’t find a payment method you need, send us a message.
Can I also just pay in one go?
Yes. The usual payment methods are listed there, including iDEAL. Paying in installments is optional, not mandatory.
