The cargo box and who can ride along

The box is made from a combination of EPP and wood. The wood provides a strong yet relatively lightweight structure, and the soft EPP on the inside makes the seats comfortable. There is room for up to four people, with two seats standardly equipped with magnetic three-point seat belts. These click easily into place and keep your children safely secured. The box is close to the rider, so you can stay in contact with those riding along and quickly point out or grab something. For young families, this is a reassuring feature during the ride.

Stability on three wheels

For daily drop-offs and pick-ups, the range is usually more than sufficient. If you plan a longer trip, it’s smart to fully charge or bring the charger along.

Motor, gears, and brakes

The Ananda M100 mid-motor delivers strong torque, up to 95 Nm, which you’ll notice when accelerating with a full load or on a hill. The mid-motor keeps the weight nicely balanced because the power is centered on the bike. Shifting is done with an Enviolo hub that moves continuously, so you don’t search for the right gear but simply turn to heavier or lighter. The hydraulic disc brakes have a parking function, handy when you want to keep the bike stationary while loaded. The motor assists up to 25 km/h, without a throttle, just like a regular electric bike.

Safety, lighting, and equipment

Safety is in the details. The integrated headlights have a wide 360-degree range, so you are well seen and can see well yourself. At the back, there is a light with a brake function that lights up when you brake, so traffic behind you knows what you’re doing. The cargo bike comes with the appropriate certification. On the handlebar, there is a color display with a USB port, handy for charging your phone or keeping an eye on your route. Small things, but together they make daily rides with children clearer and safer.
