This keeps the bike a regular electric bike, which doesn’t require a license, registration, or helmet. We advise against modifying the motor. If you go faster than the allowed limit, the Zipper no longer counts as a regular e-bike and your warranty will be void. The 25 km/h limit applies to motor assistance; you can always pedal faster on your own power.

The wide tires provide grip and a stable feel, whether you're riding on asphalt or over sand, gravel, and mud. Together with the suspension, they absorb some of the vibrations. The brakes bring you to a calm and controlled stop. With the Shimano 7-speed gears, you can adjust your pedaling to the road, from flat to a slight incline. Keep in mind that a fatbike is heavier than a regular city bike, which you especially notice when lifting it. On cobblestones and speed bumps, the ride remains smooth and predictable thanks to the tires and suspension.
