The OUXI GT-20 is an electric fatbike with thick 20-inch tires and a comfortable, low riding position. Made for daily use. You hop on, pedal along, and the motor does the rest of the work. What most people notice right away? How stable the bike feels thanks to those wide tires. Great for the city, for shopping, or just a ride around the neighborhood. Low step-through and comfort

The riding position is upright and relaxed. You sit high enough to have a good view without leaning forward in a sporty way. For many people, that’s the big plus. Running errands, dropping off the kids, going to work. The wide saddle and relaxed handlebar position make both short and longer rides pleasant. The stem is at a comfortable height so your arms stay relaxed. Note though: this is not a bike with an extra low step-through for those who have trouble lifting their leg over the frame. If you need that, look for a model with a true low step-through.

Range and battery

We get the most questions about the battery. The honest answer: there’s no fixed mileage number. The range is generous but depends on your weight, the wind, how much assist you use, and how often you stop and start. If you ride gently on a low setting, you’ll get quite far. If you crank everything up and accelerate constantly, the battery drains faster. That’s how it goes with every electric bike. Good to know before you estimate your regular route.

Motor, speed, and regulations

The GT-20 has a 250W motor with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. No throttle. That means it counts as a regular electric bike: no license, no registration, and no helmet requirement. You pedal, the motor helps, and around 25 km/h the assist gradually cuts out. Some people want to tune such a bike to go faster. We don’t recommend that. Once you remove the speed limiter, the bike loses its status as a regular electric bike and falls under stricter rules. Plus, it compromises your braking distance, tires, and motor.

Tires, brakes, and riding feel

The wide 20-inch tires are at the heart of the riding experience. They effortlessly absorb bumps or curbs and provide plenty of grip. This makes the bike feel calm and confident, even when the road surface gets rougher. The hydraulic disc brakes complement this. They engage smoothly and require only a light squeeze, even when it's wet or you're riding faster. Together, the tires and brakes create a bike that feels solid without being heavy. However, you do notice the weight of those thick tires. The GT-20 is not a lightweight that you can easily lift up a step.
