The OUXI H9.4 Fatbike is the latest model and stands out with extra suspension for more comfort. The powerful 250W motor provides full pedal assistance up to 25 km/h, the maximum legal speed for electric bikes in the Netherlands.

Extra comfort & more suspension

With the 20-inch wide tires and advanced suspension, you ride comfortably offroad and onroad. With pedal assistance, you can relax and cover distances of around 60 km. The low step-through frame makes mounting and dismounting easy.

Battery & Display

The bike has a battery with a range of around 60 km. Through OUXI’s LED display in the center of the handlebar, you can track how many kilometers you have ridden, the battery level, and adjust the settings.

Safety

Do you need a license or helmet? No, not with the OUXI H9.4! Additionally, the powerful hydraulic brakes provide extra safety. There is also a built-in alarm in the fatbike.

Is the H9 legal?
Yes. The H9 only assists you if you pedal yourself and stops at 25 km/h, with a 250W motor and no throttle. This makes it just an electric bike, not a moped. So you are allowed to ride it anywhere you can ride a regular bike.
How fast does the H9 go, and am I allowed to increase its speed?
The H9 supports speeds up to 25 km/h. Faster is not allowed: as soon as you tune a fatbike, it is legally considered a moped. You are then required to have insurance, a license plate, and a helmet, and your warranty becomes void. With our bikes, you ride safely within the rules.
Do I need a driver's license, insurance, or registration for the H9?
No. Because the H9 supports up to 25 km/h, it counts as a regular bike. No driver's license, no license plate, no mandatory insurance. A bike insurance against theft or damage is smart, but that’s up to you.
From what age are you allowed to ride the H9?
In the UK you must be 14 or over to ride an electric bike (EAPC) like this one on public roads (gov.uk). A helmet is not compulsory for EAPC riders, but it is recommended.
How far can you go with the H9 on a single battery charge?
With the H9, you can ride approximately 45 to 75 km on a full battery. The exact distance depends on your speed, your weight, how much assistance you use, and the wind.
What warranty do I get on the H9?
You get a 2-year warranty on the frame and 1 year on the moving parts. If something breaks during that period due to a manufacturing defect, we will take care of it for you.

Additionally, the H9.4 has a low step-through frame, making it easy to get on and off without lifting your leg high. You sit upright, in a position that remains comfortable even on longer rides.

Range and battery

The H9.4 runs on a lithium battery that lasts long enough for daily rides and trips. Consider the stated distance as a guideline, not a guarantee of kilometers: your actual range depends on your weight, the wind, the level of assistance, and the terrain. If you often ride with the highest assistance or over tough terrain, the battery will drain faster. By shifting gears smoothly and not always riding at the highest level, you generally get more out of a charge.

Motor, speed, and regulations

The H9.4 features a 250W motor that only assists when you pedal and supports up to 25 km/h. There is no throttle, so you keep pedaling. With this setup, the bike is considered a regular electric bike, which means you don’t need a license, registration, or helmet. Do not modify the fatbike to go faster: doing so will void its status as a regular e-bike and you will lose your warranty. For daily use and trips, assistance up to 25 km/h is more than enough.

Tires, brakes, and riding feel

The H9.4 rides on wide 20-inch tires that provide plenty of grip and, together with the suspension, ensure a smooth ride on sand, grass, and unpaved paths. Hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable stopping power even in wet conditions. An LED display keeps you informed about your speed, distance, and battery level. The downside of full suspension and wide tires is the weight: the bike is sturdy, something to consider if you need to lift or store it.
